One Frame {Alfonso}

May 29, 2012

So a couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa and Guillo’s first child’s baptism. Apart from, baby Alfonso, being super cute, the entire family is fantastic.

I am really behind on my blogging, including the images from Melissa and Guillo’s wedding, but I promise I will catch up really soon, once I get out a couple of awesome project that I’ve been working on ^_^.

Kate + Paul {Married}

March 20, 2012

How they met, in her words:

“Cliff (our best man and mutual friend who introduced us) knew I was a musician and spent time at Hideaway Café & Recording Studio in St. Petersburg , so one night in August of 2009, Cliff brought Paul out to meet me there. The next week, Paul’s family was visiting and he brought them all out to Hideaway to see me perform, so I got to ‘meet the parents’ very early on! The next few days led to our first ‘official’ dates and we planned our first getaway together to Pier House Resort in Key West 6 weeks later. About a year later in December of 2010, Paul proposed on the door step of Hideaway Café & Recording Studio. We married 9 months later with our feet in the sand at Pier House in Key West. That night, I played him a song I wrote for him, called “Our Song”. The song will be on my first album, which is being recorded at Hideaway Café & Recording studio this Spring. The cd should release this summer :)”

Dilemma {A poem}

March 19, 2012

If I were mild, and I were sweet,
And laid my heart before your feet,
And took my dearest thoughts to you,
And hailed your easy lies as true;
Were I to murmur “Yes,” and then
“How true, my dear,” and “Yes,” again,
And wear my eyes discreetly down,
And tremble whitely at your frown,
And keep my words unquestioning
My love, you’d run like anything!

Should I be frail, and I be mad,
And share my heart with every lad,
But beat my head against the floor
What times you wandered past my door;
Were I to doubt, and I to sneer,
And shriek “Farewell!” and still be here,
And break your joy, and quench your trust-
I should not see you for the dust!
